Come When Called!

9/21/2016 - 10/12/2016 @ 7:30 PM at Rindge Recreation Department with Amy Willey | View Map
This class is for puppies and dogs of any age and no prior training is required.

Frustrated that your dog doesn't Come When Called or that she seems to have selective hearing? Want a dog who Comes When Called into the house, back to you on the trail or away from the road?

Coming When Called is one of the most important skills that you can teach your dog. Not only does this skill help keep your dog safe, but it also allows your dog to have some time off-leash for his much needed exercise.

This 4-week class includes an orientation (no dogs at the first class) and then 3 classes where you and your dog will work together on specific skills designed to build and improve your Come When Called.

- Puppies/dogs must be friendly towards dogs and people
- Vaccinations up-to-date
- A properly fit harness OR martingale (limited slip) collar. It is important for this class that your dog have gear that they can not slip out of.
- 6-8' non-retractable leash (please leave retractable/flexi leashes at home)
- A 20-30' long line (long training leash)
